Dwight Howard The Houston Rocket (News/Review)

Dwight Howard moves onto Houston now as we all know signing for 4-year/88 Million. Now onto to his 3rd NBA Team in 3 Years, Howard will be joining rising superstar James Harden & Hall of Fame Head Coach Kevin McHale leaving a possible extra 30 million from Los Angeles on the table. Many influences for Dwight Howard believed would be an asset to his career was James Harden, Kevin McHale & HaKeem Olajuwon longtime Rockets Hall of Fame Center would make him a better player. But making many enemies in L.A with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol  rumored to be upset with Howard unfollowing Dwight on social media and Phil Jackson congratulating Howard humorously as a Houston Astro not a Rocket. Jackson being quoted saying "He left a distaste in Lakerland," Jackson said of Howard on Twitter. "The Lakers will be fine. "What DH brings to the game is power and D. This past year didn't show due it to rehab and confusion. If he is better [off] an Astro, so be it." As well as Shaquille O'Neal who has been known to be a Howard critic saying “It was expected," Shaq speaking on Dwight's decision. "We've all been in L.A. and not a lot of people can handle being under the bright lights. Everybody wants to do it, but when you get there, there are certain pressures. I think it was a safe move for him (Dwight) to go to a little town like Houston.” It's no question even after the Dwightmare in Orlando, Howard image as even taking a bigger hit with his indecisiveness, lack of commitment, lack of accountability, uncoachable, not wanting to be a face of the franchise or being a dominant Center and now leaving L.A. Better yet even Charles Barkley saying "He's out of good will & the only way he can improve his image is winning a championship". Dwight Howard can only improve his career at this point is picking this decision, maturing & stick it out standing on his own 2 feet. The opportunities in Houston now are quite exciting  from a NBA fan standpoint with very good foundation like Chandler Parsons, James Harden, Jeremy Lin & a solid Head Coach. Now with Howard bringing rebounding, defense, & a career 18 point & 13 rebound career averages. Its all on Howard now to be known for the rest of career as guy with talent and limitless potential, but immaturity & antics took over production on the court or a player who willed his way to championship with a legacy in this game.
