Ramaj Eroc (Mr. Ignorant Lyrical)

Don't think that this will be the first and last time you see this guy here on the TrapRock Archives. Ramaj Eroc, the Chi-Town native came thru with an ill collection of dope music. And on this blog when it comes to music, we're fiends for that dope...lol (that was a metaphor) haha..But whateva! This dude definitely made it to my ipod. So for a proper introduction, below we present to you a collection of his music. We hope to hear more from Ramaj! #Salute

This track is ill...

"Ramaj Eroc". No two words can describe this Hip-Hop/R&B artist no better than "hard working" as he makes his way to the top. Struggling for some kind of publicity, his will to beheard is just the beginning of his story. Born in Chicago & raised on the south suburbs, its been 9 long years since he started on his path for respect, but it seems like it just haven't came yet. Ramaj Eroc aka Mr. Ignorant Lyrical says 2012 "is my year". If that's true, he has the ability to shut the critics up.

"Determined Adversity" but for short, D.A. A hip-hop group Ramaj Eroc is a part of with fellow Chicagoan, Lyrik Luciano(19) & Kankakee's Kyd Splash(19). They all met each other in high school in 2008. After a few months, they decided instead of pursuing the music industry individually, to join together & make the rare male-male-female group that hip-hop barely sees. Ever since Ramaj & Lyrik moved to California and left Kyd Splash back in Illinois, Splash has been making her way to improve as a hip-hop artist. While she's practices & ups her skill, Ramaj, Lyrik, & Hona Costello(22) formed a group called #Surreal since relocating!

Ramaj Eroc's mixtape "Last Train To Japan Vol. 1" was released July 15, 2011. The project was sponsored by AlwaysNewMusik.com & was featured on sites such as GoWhereHipHop.comChicagoNow.comRapCypher.comHITPMusic.com, & More. The first & second official singles Let's March Featuring Jack Tradez & Chedda Chexx & If We Try Featuring Lyrik Luciano & E Major was released late May. The third single I'm Lost Featuring Freaky Jon P was released mid-June. Sincerely, Yours Truly Featuring KaCe & Seph Lucas Of Detour was the first unofficial single for the mixtape. The second unofficial single #PrayForJapan was released on March 11, 2011. It's a dedication song for the Japan victims of the recent earthquake & tsunami on March 10. In August, Ramaj released "Last Train [EP]", which features 7 of the premiere songs on the mixtape.

Lights, Camera, Action. Ramaj Eroc has performed at numerous locations like Club Revolution In Redlands, CA, which was hosted by YMCMB's Glasses Malone, Olivet Nazarene University, Stevie Hunter Fest and the Annual Black History program in Kankakee, IL, Eastern Illinois University, & University Of Illinois(Champaign-Urbana)

Ramaj Eroc ‘Last Train To Japan Vol. 1′ [Mixtape]

Last Train To Japan Vol. 1, The mixtape features performances by Jack Tradez, E Major, Freaky Jon P, Tee Whyy, KaCe, Lyrik Luciano, Hona Costello, Seph Lucas, Kyd Splash, Lady Bird, and V.O.N. Including production by Mr. Kooman, Best Kept Secret, Cardo, and more. This is my favorite mixtape of the summer, so far. The production is, simply put, pitch-perfect. When I think about hip-hop music and where it is moving, this is the direction that I would like to see it go. Ramaj has that soulful and full bodied voice, which makes his lyrics feel warm and inviting. Give what he is saying a close listen because at times he goes into a story telling type of rhyming. This can be seen in his song “Devil May Cry” (produced by Cardo), which has turned out to be one of my favorite tracks off the tape.
This is a must download right here! So don’t wait, grab it now and as always be on the lookout for more from Ramaj Eroc!
