Baltimore's Fuller Brothers Come Up Big vs Georgia Tech

(Kyle Fuller at the top/Corey Fuller at the bottom)

Today was a very big night in ACC College Football as Virginia Tech defeated Georgia Tech 17-20 in a late game thriller. After a giving fans a snoozer through three quarters, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech ended up delivering some major drama. Some of the crucial plays in Monday nights game was led by Baltimore natives and brothers Senior Wide Receiver Corey Fuller (Woodlawn High) and Sophmore Cornerback Kyle Fuller (Mount St.Joesph). Corey Fuller had by had a huge fourth-down catch to set up the field goal that sent the game into overtime. Meanwhile in overtime Kyle Fuller had perhaps the biggest defensive play of the game when he intercepted Georgia Tech's quarterback Tevin Washington near the goal line in overtime. The Yellow Jackets were in field goal range on the first possession of the extra period, but Washington panicked after he was forced to scramble on third down. Kyle Fuller was there, giving Virginia Tech possession and led to The Hokies kicker Cody Journell nailing a 18 yard game winning field goal. Kyle has begun to establish himself as a stand out player on the Hokies defense in his 2nd year on the football field. It looks brother Corey Fuller is starting to do the same for the Hokies offense after transferring from Kansas where he was a highly known trackstar. The Fullers will be a part of how far the No.16 in the nation Virginia Tech Hokies will go in the 2012 season
