Chinky Miyake is October's On The Come Up

Traprock Archives premieres our brand new monthly On The Come Up Edtion on www.traprockradio.com. Our new feature brings us to Baltimore native artist & clothing designer Chinky Miyake. A Puerto Rican & Japanese born rapper Chinky was educated in the Maryland and Washington D.C area. She is currently receiving her college education at the historical Howard University pursuing her Fashion Merchandising Degree. Like so many famous entertainers, Chinky started singing in church as a member of the Youth Choir. Her first solo unearthed a deep desire to reach others through music. Since then, she has been passionate about all genres of music, specifically Hip-Hop. She has been featured in "TheFembassy" and HipHopWired.com as one of the 10 Dopest Female Rappers in a post Nicki Minaj Era. Miyake is open collaborations with other serious artists and bookings all over the U.S.A. She utilizes her talent as self expression.    

Chinky's admiration & ambition for fashion along with the art of Hip-Hop makes her a very cultured stand out artist. She has the ability to bring the best of both worlds together to showcase her peers and fans her music also her great eye of fashion. I first came across Chinky Miyake about a month ago on bmoresveryown.blogspot.com featured in JayDee Polo's "Tomboi Swagg Video". Miyake's impressive rapid sick punchlines caught me off guard being it was my first impression and left me to wonder where has this dope artist with a creative style wearing a "Studded Denim Vest" and "Pilot Captain Hat" been hiding. I decided to do more research on Chinky after hearing songs such as Tomboi Swagg,Dial Tone,Vibe,and many more. I was left a believer that she is clearly legit and the real deal. Her potential is "sky's the limit" between being an artist along with entrepreneurial spirit establishes Miyake a rising star on the Baltimore scene and beyond. She is one of the most talented artist/fashion designers I've came across and defnitely on her way to the top if she continues to be creative as well as consistent. We hope to see a new project from Chinky in the near future & more of her clothing merchandise as well. Chinky Miyake is October's Traprock Archives On The Come Up Edition....
