See now it's a New Era. Before artist were only concerned in getting into acting, obtaining a clothing line, shoes or some type of fashion. Now the new trend is putting your name on the hottest merchandise that's beneficial for everyone. A few years ago Compton's own,
Dr. Dre, of the N.W.A. released his own brand "Beats by Dre" which you may notice a lot of the younger generations cling to. The Beats headphones are quite expensive, but are durable, has good sound quality and most of all people love the replaceable cord. Since then, both
50 Cent (
SMS headphones) and
Ludacris (
Soul headphones) have both released a set of head phones. All three brands are really the same. It's mainly the style and durability that catches peoples attention. Beats by Dre are smaller and compact. There really hasn't been much talk about 50's SMS headphones, but they do look cool and are flexible and tough. With Dre's brand touching so many consumers, SMS never stood a chance. The bass is just better than any other headphone on the market. However Luda's brand is moving. But sometimes you really have to ignore the hype brands, such as Dr. Dre or Ludacris. You pay extra for the name, and that doesn't add to the quality one bit. These outstanding brands are no different from the other great brand names such as
SONY, BOSE, Grado PS50, Rado SR325is, Sennheiser HD 280, or Audiophile. In many reviews it's been said that if you're listening to hip hop/rap then Beats by Dre Pro all the way. The bass is just
better than any other headphone on the market. For R&B go for the Souls
by Ludacris SL300, they just have a better overall sound in that
category. If your music in angled more towards rock, punk or screamo go
for Grado. Mainly for the vented diaphragm. At the end of the day everyone's ear for sound is completely different. The main thing is you wanna check for great sound quality, durability, flexibility, maintenance, and cost. I wonder who's next to come out with something like this...
