Florida Gulf Coast & La Salle Shows Out In The NCAA Tournament (News)

15th Seed Florida Gulf Coast shows out in the 2013 NCAA Tournament. In March Madness all fans and College Basketball lovers always gravitate to the underground. Only in its 11th year in existence in Men's Basketball & school existence since 1991. FGCU has won many headlines this past weekend after upsetting Top 10 Georgetown Hoyas 78-68 Friday evening, they bounce back today with another win over San Diego State putting up 81 on a pretty good Aztec defensive team. It's no doubt that the Cinderella school from Fort Myers,Florida has gained many of fans being lead by Head Coach Andy Enfield and players Sherwood Brown, Brett Comer & Eddie Murray. The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are a highlight filled and wicked athletic team that likes push up and down the floor which catches many teams off guard. They are Sweet 16 bound who will take on Florida in Arlington,Texas next week which should be an intriguing match-up.

Meanwhile in the West Region of the NCAA Tourney the La Salle Explorers have also gained a lot of  eyes as well. The 13th Seed La Salle had to win the 1st Round which was once called the "Play In Game" earlier this week defeating Boise State and Friday upsetting Kansas State 63-61 in the 2nd Round in closing minutes. Now today taking on 12th Seed Ole Miss lead by Marshall Henderson, The Explorers found a way to come out the victors in closing minutes winning 76-74 on a game winning bucket from guard Tyrone Garland. La Salle is now headed to the Sweet 16 next Friday in Los Angeles taking on 9th Wichita State who upset No.1 Gonzaga this past Saturday. La Salle is led Head Coach John Giannini by they veteran backcourt and 3-Guard lineup who are very athletic by the likes of Tyrone Garland and Ramon Galloway. Its been 13 years since La Salle was in the NCAA Tournament, they definitely are making up for it. Its no doubt these Cinderella teams are the real deal & clearly ruined Brackets. It's March Madness at its best here in 2013. Can't help but root for the under dogs and wish La Salle & Florida Gulf Coast LUCK....
