It’s not often the world gets to meet a triple threat with the immense, unadulterated talent at the magnitude possessed by Emanny. The dapper, young new singer, songwriter, and producer is getting ready to take the world by storm with his melodic singing voice and witty but mature lyrics.
Born in The Bronx New York, his family made sure he was introduced to music at an early age. With several relatives who rapped, sung, and recorded music, it was only a matter of time before little Emanny followed in his relatives’ footsteps. At 14, he joined the world renowned Boys Choir of Harlem. It was in the Boys Choir where he met members of a group he would be a part of called DyNaste, and began pursuing music seriously. While in The Boys Choir and DyNaste, Emanny gathered much performing experience and was critical in the success of DyNaste as a lead vocalist, but he also was known for his talents as a gifted young songwriter.
In 2000, DyNaste was forced to break up, which left Emanny to go on and use all he had learned while in the group to make himself a successful Singer/Songwriter. Since then, He has written, recorded and co-produced over 100 songs and has opened up for artist such as Tank, Joe, Ginuwine, Trey Songz, Donnell Jones and j. Holiday. In 2008, Emanny released a single entitled “All I Can Do” and it has since recieved National and International notice while also getting spinned on major radio stations such as Hot 97 in New York.
Now in 2011, Emanny has released his debut mixtape entitled “Road To The Highlife” which includes two nationally noticed singles called “Time Is Up” & “When I’m Gone” which features Styles P and Jadakiss of the Legendary Hip Hop Group “The Lox” and is currently working on his debut EP. With 10+ years of performing, songwriting, producing and recording listed in his book of experience, he has been fortunate to use his gifts and talents by performing and recording with artist such as Patti Labelle, Gerald Levert, Billy Killman, James Taylor, Carl Thomas, Ginuwine, Joe Budden, Styles P, Jadakiss and many more. While fame and fortune is a sure achievement through hard work and dedication to the arts, Emanny says ” I would love to be remembered as a person who always gave people music they can relate to and love at the same time. Most of all, I would want to be known not just as a singer, producer, or songwriter, but as a true Man of Music.
