December's On The Come Up:Shwaze Collins

It's the first month and once again we are back in December with Traprock Archives new "On The Come Up Editon". This month we bring to you 19 year old upcoming artist from Baltimore, Maryland "Shwaze Collins". Born Adrian Collins first wanted to get into music in the 7th grade but didn't really take it to rapping seriously until about the 10th grade. Within the past 2 years he has released a total of 4 mixtapes (No Feelings, Space Age, No Feelings Pt 2, Forever Dope). Collins has been influenced heavily by artists such as Nas, Big Sean, Meek Mill, and Jay Z just to name a few. Shwaze has shared with The Archives that he plans to expand his name across his home state and become one the best artists amongst the local scene as well the best amongst his peers.He has collabed with fellow Baltimore artists Jay Verze, Rickie Jacobs, Y1, and Mack Scott. Collins compares his unique style to the likes of Big Sean mixed with Currensy. Just as any other artist Collins dreams to be well renowned around the world and make music that any audience can enjoy. He's currently planning to drop an Untitled EP in early 2013.

I recently listened to Shwaze Collins mixtape "Forever Dope" last week. I was definitely impressed by many songs on his latest project such as "FAME,The Grind,Gang Green,Make Money & more". It's no question with work ethic and making the proper networking moves sky's the limit for the 19-year old artist. Shwaze is very talented and has even gained respect from a great friend of mines and fellow hometown producer T.A.G.M.G's own Street Scott. Street Scott has stated on several occasions about  Shwaze that as an artist "He definitely gets busy and has skills". We look to forward to seeing where Collins progression goes and hope to hear his next project. Shwaze Collins is Traprock Archives December's On The Come Up.....
