Anthony Bennett Goes Number 1 in the NBA Draft (News)

Thursday night was full of surprises in the association. Starting with the 2013 NBA Draft & which many called this year's draft not as prominent & certainty as many draft's in the past. With many NBA insiders and experts pretty confident in who would be going Number 1 to the Cleveland Cavs. Many believed Kentucky's Nerlens Noel would be headed to the Cleveland even after tearing his ACL back in early March, However in the past 2 days many reports began to change believing Cleveland would going with  Center Alex Len (Maryland). Instead Cleveland on Draft Night wowed many experts, Noel & fans going with UNLV Forward Anthony Bennett.

Bennett was highly regarded High School Recruit from Canada playing on junior national teams then to the states to Findlay Prep, one of the most prestigious High-School Basketball Programs in the U.S and then to UNLV. Anthony won Conference Player Of The Year at UNLV as a freshmen.. What would be in question with Bennett is his position at 6'7 & 240 pounds many believe he's a Power Forward with the frame & height of a Small Forward but doesn't have the quickness to guard other NBA Small Forward's. It's no doubt Cleveland made a good choice even though they may had reached to grab Bennett at  Number 1. Bennett is very skilled on the offensive that can shoot, has range & can score in many different ways kind of like former UNLV great & former NBA Star Larry Johnson.
