Doc Rivers Headed To The Clippers??? (Video)

 ESPN's Jackie MacMullan broke news earlier today including NBA Head Coach Doc Rivers. The long trade talks between the Celtics and Clippers have officially came to terms. The Clippers has offered Rivers 3 year, 21-million dollar deal. The three-year deal with the Clippers is virtually the same amount Rivers was owed by the Celtics before the teams agreed to a compensation package for the coach. The Clippers still retain assets that can be used at a later time to acquire forwards Kevin Garnett and can pursue Paul Pierce in free agency, assuming the Celtics buy out his 2013-2014 contract for $5 million. Landing Rivers to replace Vinny Del Negro all but secures the Clippers chances on re-signing Chris Paul to a max contract extension this summer. Now the trade has yet to be finalized and approved by the NBA. But sources says it will only be a matter of time. Now with Rivers possibly gone,could Garnett & Pierce be right behind him.
