What The Game's Missing in Hip-Hop (Society Pt.1)

What's the Hip-Hop culture have been missing in later times???...It seems to be even with the rise of many lyricist in the past 5 years making the transition from underground to mainstream or underground with mainstream fame has become a big boost & shows promise for the genre. However to me The Hip-Hop genre has been somewhat diluted within society for as many who are fans, supporters and are uplifted by artists mistaken Hip-Hop for Rap and are inspired to be artist or rappers. Some are inspired by what they see & some are inspired by what they feel. Lately I've seen being a blogger, supporter, listener & viewing from my perspective the thin line from artists & rappers has become a broaden gap in Hip-Hop. From a society standpoint its been diluted & watered down by many rappers (underground/mainstream) who proclaim to be artists. Several issues such as little or no value to preparation for promo, lack of content, bad ear for beats, bad support circle/team or too much pride/ego for proper direction or advice..Many artist from local to mainstream release's of song after song just to show they have many tracks in the stash & depreciate the value of making each song a "Hit Song" (which will  be featured in Part 2 what a Hit Song is???)...I see it as it only takes 1-solid hit song or project that's push constantly last a lifetime that can withstand the hands of time makes it a classic and as well strengthen you & or brand as well. In a way that's much better than putting constantly a project or track over again & again can somewhat holds no value because your peers will be looking for the next or look at you as not to be took seriously. I really believe the feeling of eagerness and urge to be first to put out a tough or solid song before other rappers just to be heard or for attention..Those same rappers don't see fit to perfect their craft or seek the room to improve (which is in not music but life). Confidence can only get you but so far without well put in time, dedication & hard-work. It's so closely similar to a sport the studio is the weight room, the court, or the field, it's where you hone in your thoughts, feelings, expressions & put it to a beat. Let's take a closer look to the process from writing, recording & finishing touches---Where do you take it after recording the project or song??...Do you play around your homies??..Do you e-mail to folks that have honest opinions??...Do you get the right people to tell if the song can be better or not??..Do you develop a solid plan or scheme (promo/e-mails etc)..Now a days its not just about the music, its importantly to be STRATEGIC as well for an artist to survive. Sometimes it's ok to hear constructive criticism, not so good feedback or humbling experiences. It's never late to learn new strategies, tips, directions & new schemes never let an "already made it,V.I.P, or Diva" attitude get in the way of you getting where you want to be or building good relationships with music colleagues and supporters. Its all essential parts & contribute to the motto "Quality Over Quantity" which I believe is a formula leaving your fanbase & supporters wanting more. Which is always great have your listeners asking for more it's like an cliffhanger on a tv show "to be continued, anticipating for the next show" . In a lump some what an artist possesses in my eyes who take time to progress and improve as well value their music, the people around your music & appreciate the patience and the process of creating beginning to writing, recording, pushing your track. It's a must to develop that process into consistency. Some artist may say "they don't make music for they fans or peers, but for themselves"...To me for those some "you record & write music for how you feel but if your an artist with accounts on several social networks for people to hear, download, sell, vibe & in some cases get nod of encouragement/applause or approval of others". So in all actuality your making it for both & not just for yourself because it wouldn't be shared on social network/media outlets at all. It's not at all a judgement but an opinion. I think aspiring artist might can read this & pick up a tip or 2 & use as a tool to their craft. It's all about building up listeners & peers anticipating the next move & capitalizing off it with even better moves.

"A simple opinion of how I look at the game from a guy who doesn't rap but loves it when at its best & wants it at it's best and pure".."It's not only about the music, its about the strategy & efficiency as well to be successful".
