#NewSingleALERT Miguel Drops New Song ‘Shockandawe’ | Written by Steve Mostyn and Miguel

Miguel has premiered a new track called “Shockandawe,” which he co-wrote with Steve Mostyn.

Over a rock-influenced production, he sings, “Bang bang, give it up right now / Strip for me, baby, strip for me / I dropped the bomb / Did I take your bomb? / Just shock and awe / Better brace yourself, like.”

At first listen, “Shockandawe” sounds reminiscent to an N.E.R.D. record.

“Miguel is giving me N.E.R.D vibes on these new tracks and I’m absolutely here for it,” a fan tweeted.

“Shockandawe” is the follow-up to “Sky Walker,” which features rapper Travis Scott. Both tracks are expected to appear on Miguel’s upcoming album that will release on ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records.
