Schoolboy Q Habits & Contradictions

Jan 14 2012 was a big day for Top Dawg Entetainments own Schoolboy Q as he dropped his sophmore project "Habits & Contradiction" which was a prequel to his first project "Setbacks".This projects shows the diverse flows and rhyme schemes.As well as showing his side of growing up and life stories from Los Angeles,CA.Also with presenting the vintage style of West-Coast Hip-Hop and story tellin topics of being a MC mixed with real facts.Since the project has dropped on itunes the support immediately began to fall through from overseas and here in America as well from being 7th and later on moved up to 2nd in sales on itunes.Safe to say that this project has been a very quick success today.I personally love his music he brings a style of DMX,Nas,and 50 Cent in their early days of strong hardcore delivery with a art of story telling which is unique coming from a California born MC.Habits & Contradictions includes features from Dom Kennedy,ASAP Rocky,Currensy,JHene Aiko,and fellow Black Hippy members (Kendrick Lamar,Ab-Soul,Jay Rock).Overall an exceptional project with amazing producers with Dave Free,Lex Luger,Mike Will,Alchemist,and many more
