Anthony Davis is Officially Team USA

New Orleans Hornets 2012 Number 1 pick Anthony Davis was summoned tonight to join to Team USA in they first exhibiton game against the Dominican Republic. Davis was to replace Blake Griffin for todays game after he was diagnosed earlier today with a twisted knee. Now recent breaking news says that Blake Griffin has suffered a torn meniscus in his knee and will be out 8 weeks. Griffin injury will cause him to miss the 2012 Olympics which leaves Anthony Davis to be the newest member of Team USA. I think this will be a great opportunity for Davis working and playing along with the great players on Team USA as well playing against some of the World's Best International Players. Anthony had 9 points in the 4th quarter and was 3-4 from the floor. He has a chance now win the 2012 Gold Medal to go along with his 2012 NCAA Mens Basketball Championship in the same year. I believe given a decent amount of minutes in the Olympic Games Davis will show the world his amazing skills on a Professional level but a great preview to the 2012 NBA season. Anthony Davis will definitely be a even better player by the end of the summer learning from Team USA big men LeBron James,Tyson Chandler,Kevin Durant,Carmelo Anthony,and Kevin Love. I urge everyone to root for they fellow country in the 2012 Olympic Games it should a fun and exciting competiton in all events.
