Melodic Muzik's own "Bad Habit" was Born JonTriston Jones on the west side of Chicago He was into a lineage of great musicians Stemming from his grandfather "Johnny Jones Sr." who played the rhythm and lead guitar, and had the privilege of sharing a stage with the blues legend "Bobby Blue Bland". Surrounded by musicians as a child Habit began playing drums which came naturally to him. He has had the Honor of opening shows for such artist as Musiq Soulchild as well as Kindred & the family soul. At the age of 13 Habit found a new love in the piano. Not ever receiving lessons he took the gift and started making beats using fl studio 5. Habit grew up on Chicago’s South side in the Roseland area, and after graduating from 8th grade he and his family moves to Calumet City IL where he attended Thornton Fractional North high school. There he linked up with a group of aspiring young producers and rappers alike to push his music with who are now known as "Melodic Muzik. Habit played every drum and the trumpet in his high school marching band. Habit began rapping and singing his Jr year of high school and after graduating decided to take on the music full time now Habit has released a mixtape with his group entitled "Lobby Gaggin" a prelude mixtape to the groups up and coming LP Ciniplex His upcoming project "12 Steps To Relapse set to drop 6/12/12 is self explanatory given all that Habit has dealt with throught his life he is taking 12 steps to relapse to his biggest addiction which is music
