Team USA Breaks The Record (Mens Basketball)
Team USA took it a whole other level today in competition against Nigeria. The U.S Men set a record for points in a game by putting up 156-73. Carmelo Anthony coming off the bench scoring 37 pts with 10-12 from 3-point land. Anthony set the record for points in a game within 3 quarters of play. They also set the Olympic record for points in a game and points in a half (78). The Americans bettered the U.S. records as well for 3-pointers (26), field goals (59) and field-goal percentage (71). Other high scorers for Team USA Russell Westbrook (21) Kobe Bryant (16) and Kevin Durant (14). Team USA looks to be every bit of a mis-match in Mens Basketball and continues to win by landslide victories in Olympic Competition. The U.S Men will take on Lithuania this saturday.
