Team USA Defeats China (Womens Volleyball)

The U.S Womens Volleyball team takes out China in a clean sweep in the London Games today. Team USA was led by players Destinee Hooker,Megan Hodge, and Foluke Akinradewo. Hodge led the team with 18 Kills,Hooker had 17 Kills with 3 blocks, and Akinradewo had 8 Kills with 2 blocks. Team USA won in 3 straight sets with scores of (26-24, 25-16, 31-29). Hooker and Hodge strung together back-to-back kills at 29-all and 30-29 that the U.S. finally sealed the seemingly inevitable win. Team USA now lead Group-B with a 3-0 record and has now clinched a spot in the Quarterfinals. The Americans will take on Serbia this friday and finishes up the pool playing Turkey sunday.
