Team USA Defeats Serbia (Womens Volleyball)
Team USA defeats Serbia in a clean sweep of 3 sets to none scoring (25-17,25-20,25-16). The U.S Womens Volleyball team continues to dominate competition and is the heavy favorite for winning the Gold Medal. Team USA is being led by the outstanding play of Destinee Hooker scoring 19 pts in today's competition with Logan Tom chiming in with 12 pts as well. China, Serbia, Turkey and South Korea are also in the pool with the U.S. and Brazil, which is unexpectedly fighting to advance to the quarterfinals. Japan, Russia, Italy, Algeria, the Dominican Republic and Britain make up the other pool. Team USA will move on after today's dominant victory to take on Turkey this Sunday. After one week of the 2012 Olympics The U.S has continue to dominate in Water Polo,Basketball,Swimming,Volleyball,and Gymnastics sports at this point so far.
